Time - what a weird concept

bees and bananas

01 February 2022

Every now and again, it feels like time has a beautiful rhythm. Other times it’s a weird plastic like concept that can stretch or shrink depending on the context.

Here we are - end of February, roasting today, showers, heat and thinking about planting for autumn winter harvest. In these humid days, it’s looking after current crops, giving them a feed. Being ruthless and feeding to the chickens certain plants that are now spent. Time to feed up the beds, compost on and mulch to preserve moisture content. Key now - building soil, keeping the community below our feet nourished, keeping them hydrated and the payoff will come with the next crop.

Time will tell.
